Contract Opportunity: Salesforce Test Lead (Data & Cloud)

Ten10 is one of the UK's leading tech consultancies, and we are currently looking for a high-calibre Salesforce Test Lead to join us on a contract basis for a mission-critical project with one of our key logistics clients.

The Role

As a Test Lead, you won't just be managing a process; you’ll be driving the Quality Engineering strategy. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring that testing is integrated seamlessly.

Technical Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the following:

• Quality Engineering Mastery: Extensive experience in modern testing methodologies, moving beyond "traditional QA" into true Quality Engineering.

• Salesforce Mastery: Deep experience testing Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud and a broad understanding of the wider Salesforce product suite.

• Cloud Ecosystems: Prior experience testing in Cloud environments is essential. While MS Azure is a standard, we are looking for experts in GCP to support our modern cloud strategy.

• Big Data & Querying: Significant hands-on experience with data querying and testing other Big Data products to ensure data integrity across the pipeline.

• CI/CD & DevOps: Deep hands-on experience using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab to integrate data testing into continuous deployment.

• Agile Way of Working: A "native" of the Agile world who can effectively lead teams within Scrum/Kanban frameworks.

Core Responsibilities

• Hands-on Leadership: Act as a mentor and lead for the testing team while remaining "hands-on" with complex data testing tasks.

• Strategy: Define and implement robust test strategies that support continuous delivery and "shift left" testing within a DevOps culture.

• Data-Driven Reporting: Provide stakeholders with clear transparency on quality metrics and project risks through data-driven insights.

• Collaboration: Excel in a "one-team" environment, translating complex technical risks into clear business language for the client.
