The Opportunity
The Scale Factory is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, renowned for helping ISVs and SaaS businesses scale securely through expert cloud architecture and AI. Now part of the Ten10 Group, we are combining our deep technical roots with a 450-strong consultancy powerhouse to expand from ISV, SaaS, and our enterprise customers into the next larger wave of targets.
We are seeking a Sales Manager with a Director-level mindset to refine our sales execution, deepen our AWS alliance, and lead a high-performing team through an exciting period of integration and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Your first year will focus on hands-on sales coaching, deal reviews, and execution. Key objectives include:
Sales team leadership: people leadership and running the team,
AWS: Leveraging your existing network to broaden our reach from traditional commercial/startup teams into Public Sector and new Enterprise AWS teams.
Sales Evolution: Bringing strategic observation to our current processes, identifying structural improvements, and refining our go-to-market cadence.
Strategic Cross-Selling: Identifying high-value opportunities to introduce AWS cloud solutions to Ten10’s extensive existing client base and vice-versa.
Your Profile
You are a decisive leader who balances inclusive collaboration with the conviction to drive performance. Beyond sales management experience, to succeed in this role, you must possess:
An Established AWS Network: You have a current, strong network of Account and Sales Managers within AWS.
Domain Experience: Several years of experience within AWS directly, or at a consultancy/MSP specifically focused on AWS deployments.
Architectural Fluency: You understand how IT organisations run. You can discuss security, compute, databases, and access control at an architectural level with IT Directors and CTOs (code-level experience is not required).
Proven People Management: Significant experience coaching individual salespeople through both growth phases and challenging market conditions.
Strategic Vision: The ability to see beyond the immediate deal to identify long-term structural, tool, process or incentive-based improvements. However, the CRO and RevOps team will handle the changes, so you can get back to selling.
